Gabriele Brambilla

Gabriele Brambilla, MBA, is the CEO of Alira Health, a global clinical, real-world solutions, and consulting company. Alira Health’s mission is to humanize healthcare and life sciences through innovative technologies and expert guidance. Mr. Brambilla’s unwavering commitment to patient impact is a driving factor in the company’s unique ability to help its life sciences’ clients thrive in the new world of empowered and engaged patients.

A co-founder of Alira Health, he has proudly grown the company from a small, boutique consulting firm of less than 30 people, into a global player with a workforce of over 800 highly diverse and talented employees. During the 7-year growth of the company, he raised over $100 million, while executing organic and inorganic strategies. He is elated and humbled by the fact that Forbes (2023) named the company one of the top 10 management consulting firms in the world in Healthcare and Life Sciences.

Gabriele is also a leading advocate for the local and global growth of life sciences regionally. In 2018, he co-founded the MetroWest Life Sciences Network, a nonprofit regional collaboration of healthcare and life science-based organizations, municipalities, and economic and business development organizations in Boston’s MetroWest, where Alira Health is headquartered. As the network’s current chairman, Gabriele fosters collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurship in this critical life sciences ecosystem. In conjunction with this, he sits on the Board of Directors of MassMedic, EnlightenVue, WoundForce, Firefly Innovations, X-Cor Therapeutics, Computational Life and Oncoheroes.

In his personal life, Gabriele is the proud parent of five children, and he recently started a nonprofit youth soccer club. Combining his love of sports with his philanthropic nature, he has built one of the fastest growing soccer programs in New England, with a growth of over 200 participants in a little over a year. He takes great pleasure in the fact that the program, Inter Academy Metrowest Boston, provides high end soccer training, with an emphasis on offering 30-50% in scholarships, helping to eliminate the financial barriers that can keep some youth unable to access club programs like Inter Academy.

Gabriele holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Pavia, a master’s degree in International Affairs from the I.S.P.I., and an MBA from Post Graduate SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy.
