Andrea Pulvirenti is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Alira Health, leading the company’s global operations to drive efficiency, scalability, and service excellence. His multidisciplinary expertise in engineering, business administration, finance, project management, and clinical research enables him to develop and implement robust, agile, and high-performing operational models.

Before joining Alira Health in 2021, Andrea was the Managing Director of CROS NT, a global biometrics-focused Contract Research Organization (CRO).

With over a decade in executive leadership roles within the CRO industry, he has extensive experience managing international teams and overseeing all aspects of business operations, including strategy, finance, commercial growth, and service delivery.

Andrea holds a degree in Information Engineering and an MSc in Electronics for Automation Engineering, along with an MBA and a University Master’s Degree in Clinical Research. His professional certifications include PMP^®; PfMP^®, PMI-PBA^®, and Six Sigma Green Belt, reflecting his expertise in project and portfolio management, business analysis, and process optimization.
