Alexandra Wollersheim
Partner, Transaction Advisory Services

Alexandra Wollersheim has 11 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including her position as a Manager at Staatz Business Development & Strategy, a boutique transaction advisory firm, working on sell- and buy-side M&A and licensing projects. She was also previously Head of Immunology and Critical Care Business Development at Biotest AG.

Her expertise includes strategy, sell- and buy-side M&A, deal structuring, negotiations, and strategic transaction advisory projects with closed deals in sum above €1B.

Alexandra holds degrees in International Business from the University of Maastricht, Netherlands, and Molecular Biotechnology from the Technical University of Munich, Germany.

Marc Nomaksteinsky
Managing Partner

Marc Nomaksteinsky has over 15 years of life sciences experience, from fundamental research to strategic consulting. He specializes in innovative segments including specialty care, rare diseases, advanced therapies, digital health, and artificial intelligence applications.

Before joining Alira Health, Marc conducted laboratory research in various international environments including France, the United States, and Spain, and published several papers in top-tier peer-reviewed international journals. Since 2015, he has conducted approximately 150 upstream and downstream strategic projects for a range of life sciences companies. His work includes corporate and business unit strategy, portfolio management and prioritization, product and go-to-market strategy, business development assignment, market landscape analysis, opportunity assessment, benchmarking, commercial due diligence, and organizational design.

Marc has a PhD in neuroscience from École Normale Supérieure de Paris and a Master’s in strategic management from HEC Paris.

Emilio Angeli
Junior Data Scientist

Emilio Angeli is a Machine Learning Engineer with experience in the biotech sector, where he developed and implemented AI-driven solutions to address industry-specific challenges. At Alira Health, he focuses on advancing Generative AI technologies, demonstrating his commitment to innovation in the field. Emilio holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in mathematics, with a focus on data science and artificial intelligence.
