Estefi Alvarez, PhD, has over 7 years of hands-on experience driving insight-driven MedTech innovations from concept through commercialization during her tenure at Hologic. Estefi drove and developed product innovations that successfully fulfilled key unmet needs of physicians and patients. She also spearheaded BD due diligence and recommended successful multimillion dollar acquisitions that led to portfolio optimization and pipeline. Estefi has experience in minimally invasive devices, implants, and diagnostics.
Estefi has a multidisciplinary engineering background, with a Doctorate in Bioengineering from Clemson University, Master’s of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Alfred University, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science from Smith College.
