The journey of people with lupus is complex and heterogeneous. With multiple lupus subtypes – from systemic to cutaneous to lupus nephritis – and with social determinants and demographics playing a huge factor, understanding the “typical” patient journey can be tough.
In this session, a rheumatologist specializing in lupus gives us an overview of the variety of patient journeys she sees on a daily basis. We also hear one patient’s unique experience, from diagnosis to treatment, from flares to low disease activity. And we hear a patient engagement expert perspective on how to apply these learnings across the lifecycle of any lupus program.
