Giulia Valsecchi

Principal Giulia has over seven years of strategic consulting experience, mostly in the healthcare and life science industries supporting clients on a variety of assignments such as early and late-stage commercial opportunity assessments, corporate strategy, Go-to-Market strategy, and business planning in the US, EU5, and Eastern European countries. During her consulting career, Giulia focused on the areas of surgical robotics, drug delivery systems, Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations, and innovative pharmaceuticals. She also gained experience in treatment areas such as oncology and rare diseases, ophthalmology, neurology, and cardiovascular. Giulia gained financial and business knowledge during her studies in Milan (Master of Science in finance with honors) and Rotterdam (Master of Science in financial management with honors). Giulia has studied, worked and lived in Italy, The Netherlands, and Spain.

Jamie Erskine

Senior Consultant – Medtech Market Access and Commercial Strategy EU and Asia Pacific Jamie focuses on market access and health economics for medical devices, diagnostics, digital health technology, and AI in medicine. He holds a Master of Science in biomedical engineering from the University of Glasgow, specializing in medical imaging and medical devices, and completed his Master’s thesis in surgical robotics at the Delft University of Technology. He continues to work extensively in RAS and digital surgery, focusing on HTA and market access for these solutions. He has over six years of experience working in HTA and market access at both the national and local level in the UK and across Europe, leading independent assessments for NICE’s Medical Technologies Evaluation Programme and Diagnostics Assessment Programme. He has also worked extensively in evidence generation and clinical trials of medical devices and diagnostics. Jamie is the former Technical Officer of the HTAi Medical Devices Interest Group.
